Now, Owerri has a really good Number of Estates both those with and without names. Owerri also has some Estates that are strictly Residential and some that are mixed use both Residential and Commercial. So, estates in Owerri are diversified.

Okohia Estate Owerri is located close to Area L World Bank Housing Estate and is the closest Estate to Control Roundabout / Assumpta Cathedral Owerri as it is by the 2nd roundabout from Control called Dreamland Hotel roundabout Owerri.
It can also be accessed from Port-Harcourt road opposite State Secretariat or Onisha road via Lords Chosen Church Headquarters Owerri.

However, Abuja Estate is a mini gated estate which is located inside Okohia Estate Layou.

The Estate is about 7 kilometers from Control Roundabout and about 15 minutes’ drive from Government House or Wetheral road Owerri.
The Estate is a massive Estate with few developed Structures and more still developing but this doesn’t shake the price of the properties there as they are pretty high;
it has very few completed houses with occupants but recently the ongoing constructions in increasing by the months while the prices keep going up by the month too.
The amazing thing about this estate is the plot sizes which are really massive ranging from 700sqm to 1,200 square meter in size.
The layout is great with spacious driveways around the estate which will make a beauty when put in order.
The roads are not so good for now but we hope soon the Owners of the many plots will come and develop them or give MC Capital Properties some project to help them develop or to help them to sell their properties to those looking to buy Plots to start there building projects in Owerri Imo State.
Iwuanyawu Estate Owerri has more of Independent Duplexes (Fully Detached Houses) and a very few blocks of flats and is more of residential Estate.

Graceland Estate Owerri is jest about 1klm away from Arugo Garden Estate and both are Located in an ideal place in town known as Egbada Housing roadway Irete or Amakaohia Owerri.
this area is situated on a freeway sitting between Owerri Onisha Expressway on one end and Amakaohia Orlu Road on the other end and can be accessed from both ways.
Graceland Estate (also not far from FMC Owerri and from Amakaohia Bridge) is gated with very tight security and has well paved roads all round with good plan. be aware that Graceland is not a Brand-New Estate as it has been existing for a while but it is supper well maintained and the environment is well taken care of by the Developer who also owns the beautiful Estate at Egbu called Buela Beach Estate.

And now our number 5 on the list is Hilltop Estate Owerri, It is a very secured Estate which also made it as the Number 5 in our list of the Top 5 Most Expensive Estates in Owerri.
Hilltop Estate is Located at Irete and can be accessed off Owerri-Onisha Road and is also an Ideal place for those who shuttle between Owerri and Onisha.
Hilltop Estate and Riverside Estate share a common fence and use to be one estate before they created their individual Estate gates.
Located about 4-kilometer drive from Control Roundabout along the DSS road, Hilltop Estate Owerri is gated with extremely tight security at the gate which is managed by uniformed security operatives.
The Estate roads are tared from the entrance but I guess they have plans to take that into the streets soon. I love the access roads from the Owerri – Onisha Express which is tared and with Street lights that goes from the express into the Estate. Makes it even more safe and beautiful.
Hilltop Estate Owerri is not extremely big in size but its well organized and secured.

You don’t have to build a pitiable structure and begin to call 500 million Naira because you believe it is inside Hilltop Estate Owerri you won’t get any buyer in this Owerri.

5A) Royal Garden Estate New Owerri. (Area UA New Owerri)
Our number 6 on the list is Royal Gardens Estate Owerri also known as AREA UA Owerri, again a luxurious Estate which made it to the Number 6 in our list of the Top 10 Most Expensive Estates in Owerri.
Royal Garden Estate is Located also at New Owerri. a gated Estate with good security but the roads are not so fantastic as they are not yet tared at the moment, but it hasn’t stop them from building MEGA LUXURY Houses in the Estate as that is the standard they have all over as you can see in this photo. I believe the estate roads will be done anytime soon which will definitely make them double the price “LOL” and I will update you about it.
This Estate is an expensive Estate and you will find more of fully detached duplex and some blocks of rental flats in there, as usual in Igbo Land, a good number of the houses are not occupied because the owners live abroad.
You can access the estate from Port Harcourt Road via Hospital junction when you drive down towards Westbrooke Hotel Owerri, Oputa High Court Owerri, The Compound Bar & Lounge Owerri and hit the last roundabout to your right. You can also access the Estate from Holy Rosery Junction via Port Harcourt Road and also coming from Boulevard Hotel Owerri road.

Located about 4-kilometer drive from Control Roundabout / Assumpta Cathedral Catholic Church Owerri,
You can access it from Onisha road, or Orlu Road via FMC Owerri axis down the street known as DSS road.
Riverside Estate shares a common fence with Hilltop Estate and is gated with really tight uniformed security at the gate where you need to call who you visiting before you will be granted access into the Estate.
The Estate roads are actually tared and in good shape recently and development is already established within the estate.
The property prices in the estate are pretty pricey and recently went up by about 60% soon as the security apparatus was installed and the roads were fixed.
Riverside Estate in mostly Residential and slightly few commercial properties.

Our number 3 on the list is Achike Udenwa Estate Owerri also known as NEKEDE EXCLUSIVE GARDENS ESTATE Owerri. Udennwa Estate is located at New Owerri Imo State and you can access it from NIN Office Road New Owerri down to Everyday Suppermarket New Owerri down pass Old English Restaurant & Lounge Owerri and then to your right towards Saga Suites, there you will find the Estate.
How it started: Udenwa Estate which started as just a few numbers of Govt Allocated land owners within a Govt Surveyed and Allocated area just decided to start caring for their safety and began installing Estate gates around and shut off every other gated access to make a single gated community.
This community created an Estate resident’s association which began to expand as other land owners who saw the future picked keen interest and started to key into the arrangement and the Estate began to extend its Gates to include those who keyed into the community, so with that it turned to be a proper Estate community. And that was how the estate property price skyrocketed from the original prices of about 1.5, 2m – 4 million Naira and now hitting 400 million Naira in a couple of years. how many % appreciation will that be??? Udenwa Estate is Located in a calm serene area known as New Owerri.
Gated with good security and well paved roads all round.
Udenwa Estate Owerri or Nekede Exclusive Garden Estate enjoys a mini shopping center inside the Estate and good roads where adults can take an evening or morning walking exercise and kids can ride their Bicycles around the Estate which is very safe.
For you bigger shopping spree you can head to Priceless Supermarket which is just close to Concord Hotel or Everyday Suppermarket or Save-more Suppermarket both at Everyday Round about, all this are about 4 kilometers drive from Udenwa Estate.

Known simply as “AREA C’ ESTATE LAYOUT” New Owerri and just like NEKEDE EXCLUSIVE GARDENS ESTATE Owerri. AREA C’ LAYOUT Estate is located at New Owerri Imo State and you can access it from House of Assembly Road Owerri down to Concord Hotel Owerri or Concord Avenue New Owerri and then to your left towards Chillis Bar and Grill New Owerri or Pro-Life Gym New Owerri, there you will find the Estate.
The Estate also started just like Udenwa Estate which started as just a few numbers of Govt Allocated land owners who just decided to start caring for their safety and began installing Estate gates around and shut off every other gated access to make a single gated community.

Back to it, AREA C’ Layout Estate, this is a supper High-End luxurious Estate which made it as the Number 2 in our list of the Top 5 Most Expensive Estates in Owerri. It is location is prime and a calm serene area known in New Owerri.
Gated with good security and well paved roads all round. Area C’ Estate Owerri enjoys mega Plot sizes ranging from 800sqm to 1,500 square meter plot sizes. You are allowed to build one Mansion on your plot or else the Estate approves otherwise.
The Estate comprises of massive mega Luxury Mansion of 5 – 7 Bedroom Duplexes with buildings like 3 Bedroom Duplexes built as Guest Quarters aside the Bungalow 2 Bedrooms Boys quarters, due to its huge plot size.

A Mega Supper High-End Executive Residential Estate in Owerri but yet not vastly known Estate in Owerri Imo State. Civic Center Estate Owerri is the “Banana Island Ikoyi” of South East .
Sitting on the High Table of No 1 Most Expensive Estates in Owerri Imo State, is an Estate not so popular, not so known, not so heard of, but it’s an Estate for the WHO IS WHO in not just Owerri, not just Imo State, but in South East and in Nigeria.
Civic Center Estate is located in New Owerri Imo State and a low-key Estate you could drive pass daily but might never notice it, and even if you do, you won’t take it seriously because it just has a common outlook in the front.
Chilling at a corner of New Owerri this estate offers the most expensive houses in South-East and is really the most expensive Estate in South-Eastern region and one of the top 5 most expensive in Nigeria.
I call it “THE MANSION ESTATE” because the structures that are built there are probably Mansions.
Some plots do contain structures as massive as “7 Bedrooms Mansion with a 3 Bedroom Duplex on the side (as Guest Chalet) and 2 Bedrooms Bungalow in a corner, then a 2 room boys Quarters”. that’s how MASSIVE the plot sizes are.
In Civic Center Estate you will find Mansion with massive swimming pools, really beautiful well-maintained Gardens and a sit out or rooftop lounge.
It is a very elegant exotic Estate with good access roads, beautiful greens and trees, well designed estate layout with SUPPER MASSIVE PLOTS of up to 1,200 to 2,000 square meter and you can only build one residential building on your plot.
Strictly Residential, No Church, No Schools, No Hotels, No Commercials.
Funny thing is, more than 65% of the owners of those Edifice don’t even live in their houses, and I mean from month to month and some from year to year.
For Shopping, this is a really BIG MEN Estate they don’t go shopping people do that for them. By the way, who is even home to shop??? lol. So, I guess if you looking for a house here you don’t need worry about that; maybe the other Estates can work for you lol hahaha just kidding!!
